PREISS ZIMMER PINOT GRIS, AOC ALSACE, 2024

Pale lemon hue. The same grape as Pinot Grigio, but such a different personality when vinified in Alsace, where the grape lends itself to opulence and generosity. A trace of residual sugar is in keeping with the style, as is the slightly oily texture, while the fruit notes are all about dried pears, apricots and slightly earthy spice. 2026-2028–NH
