This is a full-bodied wine with vanilla and raisin flavours contrasted by a sour acidity and bitter dried fruits on the finish. Manduria is the only region in Italy to specialize in the Primitivo variety. The DOP Primitivo Di Manduria sits behind the Gulf of Taranto on the west side of Italy’s heel.
