QUINTA LAS CABRAS CHARDONNAY BRUT SPARKLING WINE, CACHAPOAL VALLEY, 2025
Pale lemon hue. Chile is not yet well known for its sparkling wines, but this excellent wine shows tremendous promise. With the classic youthful Chardonnay aromas of white flowers and hazelnut, it boasts expressive, honeyed fruit on the palate and a crisp dry finish. 2026-2027–RB
QUINTA LAS CABRAS ROSÉ BRUT SPARKLING WINE, CACHAPOAL VALLEY, 2025
Mid bubble-gum pink. Towards the top end of the Brut dosage range, with a hint of sweetness, but nicely balanced with bright acidity. Good levels of fruit on the midpalate, with redcurrant and bramble notes tinged with blackcurrant leaf. A zippy, fun, quaffing wine. 2026-2028–NH
