Deep ruby hue. Tightly knit, the complex nose of ground coffee, winter spices, blackberry, fresh and cooked cherries, kirsch and prune signals a certain élan. This has an extra gear again on the palate, offering the very ripest black fruit and Herculean levels of alcohol to match impressive tannins and acidity. There are flavours of fresh plum, blueberry, cooked
black fruit, cedar, dark chocolate, licorice and tar, plus excellent concentration.
