Starting to show real character, Muehlforst 2019 Riesling has complex aromas with flint, wet chalk, lime, honey and beeswax all making an appearance. The wine builds in the mouth revealing nectarine, orange and pear flavours with a lime citrus acidity. It is supple with bitter white fruit and pith, giving length. Muehlforst is close to Grand Cru Rosacker, on deep marl, limestone soils and enjoys a southern exposure.
