The soils described as tuffeau in the Loire Valley refer to a local type of very fine, chalky limestone. Both white and red grapes are cultivated on tuffeau soils, often giving a lightness and mineral expression to the wines. This Cabernet Franc is equal parts floral, fruity and subtly vegetal with signature bell pepper hints. The palate has a light, chiselled, refreshing quality that is very pleasant. 2024-2027–JB
