Deep ruby in colour with nice red fruit aromas. It is medium-bodied with nice weight and a round smooth mid palate. Sangiovese was combined with 5% each of Alicante, Ciliegiolo and Merlot from relatively young vines around the region. A short maceration and fermentation at low temperature creates an easy-drinking wine with some delicious bitter cherry flavours on the finish.
