Distinctly mineral in style, it has aromas of flint and iodine with some passion fruit and lime. Produced from a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc with 10% Sémillon, the vines were planted in 2001 on a south-facing slope at 250 metres. The cooler summer and later harvest in 2021 allowed grapes to be left longer to accumulate maximum flavours. A small proportion were fermented in French oak barrels, but the oak is almost imperceptible.
