A full-bodied wine oozing juicy black fruits with olive, chocolate and cherries. It is succulent and simply shouts class. The winery located in Peñafiel (Valladolid)has vineyards in the west of the appellation at Pesquera del Duero and at a high altitude at Quintanilla de Arriba. Grapes were harvested by hand then underwent cold maceration for 24 hours before fermentation. It was matured for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
