Ripe plums, damsons and incense aromas lead to a soft, smooth palate. It is powdery in texture with mulberry flavours and medium body. It has good mid-palate fruit with nice evolution and a long, spicy finish. It is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 4% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc and was matured in older French oak barrels for 18 months.
