A wine with great intensity of fruit – it is youthful, soft and light to medium bodied, with some grip on the finish. A Tempranillo to drink any or every day of the week! Solar Viejo Tempranillo was produced from 100% Tempranillo picked during good weather in late September into October. The estate, in the hilltop village of Laguardia, was founded in 1937 by the Santa Maria Lopez family. It was purchased in 2004 and renamed Solar Viejo by the Ferrer Family. Vanesa Insausti has been the winemaker since 2007.
