Talosa

Talosa estate, owned by the Jacorossi family, consists of 33 hectares of vineyards close to the hilltop town of Montepulciano in a cru called Pietrose. Vines sit at 350-400 metres altitude with southwest exposure to the sun. The main Talosa cellar, dating to the 16th century, is beneath the old town centre in a series of underground vaults and passageways between two of the city’s oldest palazzos. The temperature and humidity are constant at 14°C and 70% making it ideal for the maturation of traditional wines in large old oak vats.
