The 2021 Te MATA Estate Merlot Cabernet is a blend of 49% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc grown on the winery’s own vineyards in the Havelock Hills, Bridge Pa Triangle, Gimblett Gravels and Dartmoor subregions of Hawke’s Bay. A classic Cabernet with a profile of mint, chocolate and blackberry. The deep core of flavour is wrapped in well-structured, plush tannins giving a seamless mouthfeel.
