Barolo is aged for a minimum of 38 months, a minimum of 18 of which must be in barrel. Barbaresco is aged for a minimum of 26 months, with at least nine of these in wood. Impressive dedication from these fine wine producers! The 2018 Cantina Clavesana Terra Barolo is a well-structured wine offering generous complexity and good balance. The bouquet offers layers of cherry, plum, tea and spice. Dried and fresh fruit on the palate is complemented by traces of tea and oak.
