Chateau Pique-Segue

A dense, full-bodied wine with plenty of structure. Aromas of cooked forest fruit compote lead to good mid-palate weight. It is structured with some astringent tannins and a chewy rustic finish, which is offset by blackcurrant and cherry fruit. Terre de Pique-Sègue is the estate’s top wine made from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was matured for 15 months in new French oak barrels.
