Grape Variety

Cabernet Sauvignon

Producer

Sarl BLB Vignobles

A wine that smells more of the garrigues amongst which the vines are planted, than the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety. The 2017 smells of a bouquet garni of wild herbs such as oregano and rosemary with a savoury musky edge. It is medium to full bodied, well-structured with a fine texture and a bitter liquorice and dark chocolate finish. Grapes come from a specific parcel of the oldest vines on the estate which are approximately 35 years old. Planted between 150 and 200 metres, with an east-south-east exposition, the wine was matured in the finest French oak barrels for up to 16 months.
