Grape Variety

Höpler Zweigelt, Qualitätswein, Burgenland
A medium-bodied wine with an earthy, cherry nose and hints of plum, cranberry and smoke. On the palate, the flavours transition to juicy raspberry, rhubarb, cranberry and herb. Generous fruit and supple tannins make this an easy-to-like, approachable wine. Pair with meaty pasta dishes such as carbonara or lasagna, or even barbecue. 2023-2026–LW

Hopler Blaufrankisch Qualitatswein Burgenland
Varied climatic influences along with a diverse range of soils in the Höpler vineyards allow for a number of grape varieties to be successfully grown. Half of the winery’s production is white wine, while 45% is red wine and a final 5% is sweet wine. This is a bright, light-bodied wine with a refreshing profile of red berry, plum, spice and herb supported by a light tannin. Pairs beautifully with roasted foods, meat and vegetables alike. 2023-2025–LW

Pannonica Grüner Veltliner, Burgenland
The Pannonica Grüner Veltliner is named after the region’s warm Pannonian climate that gives the wines their vivid fruit character and fuller body. This pretty wine has scents of white flowers, lime, talc, mineral, grapefruit and green apple. Zesty fruit packs the palate with notes of green apple, grapefruit, lime and white pepper. 2023-2027–LW
