Adamante, Branco, Vinho Regional Tejo
Adamante Branco captures the refreshing essence of the region’s Atlantic breeze with simple, fresh and direct notes of citrus, stone fruit and cut grass leading to a refreshing and light-bodied palate. The unique mix of indigenous varieties with Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier crafts a surprisingly complex white with saline notes and fresh acidity. Drink now.–MP

Cabeço da Pedra, Tinto, Vinho Regional Tejo
In 2010 old mates Pedro Seixo and Alzira dos Santos joined forces to craft a new range of Portuguese wines. Originally based in the Douro, they now own more than 45 ha across five of the country’s key wine-producing regions. The Cabeço da Pedra expresses the slightly cooler climate of the Tomar sub-region with a lovely nose of fresh currant, cherry and cranberry, supported by an attractive note of forest floor. Elegant and balanced on the palate, fine tannins sit alongside a hint of pepper to create complexity and weight. Drink now.–MP

Jangada, Vinho Tinto, Vinho Regional Tejo
Classic Portuguese grape varieties including Castelão, Tinta Roriz, and Trincadeira (don’t worry if you have never heard of them) are beautifully blended in this beguiling Tejo red. Pedro D’Orey is the sixth generation of a winemaking family who launched his own range relatively recently with a mission to create accessible wines from native Portuguese varieties. Well, he’s hit the jackpot with this: modestly priced and brimming with bold brush strokes of blackberry, plum and raspberry. This is a joy to drink now and has balanced, gentle tannins and acidity. Drink now.–MP
