Peach blossom and nectarine aromas lead to a smooth, round palate. This is a supple wine with good depth and a fine mineral finish. Sauvignon Blanc grown in Elgin and Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge was cool fermented. The 2021 Sauvignon harvest was the latest ever picked by Richard due to cool weather during the growing season allowing an extended “hang” time for grapes to accumulate maximum flavours while retaining good acidity. A touch of Sémillon adds a little weight and depth to the final assemblage.
