Ridiculously accomplished and seems to dare anyone to plonk this aromatic smorgasbord in the Eden, it shows a wildly exotic nose that comprises mushroom, damp earth, wet leaves, cocoa powder, cooked meat, black cherry and plum, bay, eucalyptus and hedgerow. The palate shows restraint in terms of alcohol, but the acidity and elegant tannins provide a lovely counterpoint to huge array of flavours such as black cherry, black plum, coconut, tinned strawberry, red apple, dried herbs and damp earth. 2030-2035–MP
