This surprisingly elegant rendering of Shiraz shows a discreet nose with classic notes of black cherry, liquorice, blueberry, eucalyptus, mint, bell pepper, cooked meat and bay leaf. Still young, the palate nevertheless shows an intense core with dark chocolate, eucalyptus, dried blackberry, prune, fig with cinnamon, baking spice, and coconut from oak. The fine tannins add an extra dimension and this will develop well in the bottle. 2029-2035–MP
