Both Barolo and Barbaresco are made from Nebbiolo and both well-structured wines are considered wine royalty. While expressions vary by producer and vineyard, Barbaresco, grown on richer soils, typically has the slightly softer tannin of the two. The 2019 Truffle Hunter Leda Barbaresco offers a bouquet of cherries jubilee, leather and mint followed by a complex palate of dried and fresh cherry, tea, sandalwood and baking-spice notes
