The Valreinas Crianza is aged for a year in a mix of French and American oak barrels, as compared to just four months for the Roble cuvée. This gives a firmer, more structured style of Ribera, though still pleasantly floral and bright fruited. The palate has a weighty, firm, fresh character with slightly chewy tannins.
