The Godello vineyards are planted on the slate at high altitudes up to 600 metres in the Galir Valley on contoured terraced slopes. Tasted as a youthful, unfinished tank sample, 2021 displayed mineral aromas of wet stone with floral lily and blossom notes. It is medium-bodied with a crisp, limey astringency and some depth. After a cool summer, Godello was picked in the first fortnight of September.
