Cuvée Vieilles Vignes is the heart of Domaine de la Jasse. The limestone soils of the estate and the local climate conditions are the key to making high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the Languedoc. Tasted as a barrel sample, partial aging in oak has produced a wine with lots of vanilla spice, woody, sweet tobacco and smoky aromas with floral and mint characters in the background. It is medium bodied with ripe blackcurrant and black cherry flavours leading to lingering bitter fruits and olives on the finish.
