The old-vine cuvée from La Jasse is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from venerable Pays d’Oc vineyards yielding lower crops of more concentrated, complex fruit. The 2023 vintage is enticing with its notes of coffee, chocolate, ripe fruit and toasted oak. The palate is weighty with tightly knit tannins. Decant or cellar for a couple of years to mellow. 2025-2030–JB
