Always popular with Members, First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon was noticeably missing from the lineup last year as the wine was not yet ready. The 2019 was worth the wait punching above its weight amidst other Cabernet wines. Floral and blackcurrant aromas precede a linear-structured palate with nice depth. Cassis and cocoa flavours combine with a firm acidity giving the wine real presence in the mouth. It is medium-bodied with good length.
