Sauvignon Blanc

In 2019, at age 81, Jost Höpler created WiraWåxt, a field blend made of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Welschriesling. WiraWåxt, pronounced “Vera Voxt,” means “as it grows,” referring to the traditional style of Wiener Gemischter Satz, in which this special wine was made. Expressive aromas welcome with the scent of apple, lime, celery and talc. The body is rich with flavours of apple, melon, grapefruit and lime backed by lively acidity. 2023-2028–LW
