From ungrafted, 60-year-old bush vines. Deep purple ruby, opaque in appearance. The nose shows medium-intensity aromas of dark fruit, hickory, juniper/fresh sage, sugared black plum, chocolate, cream and vanilla with an earthy hint. The palate is dry and has a medium acidity, a medium extract, medium fine-textured tannins, a medium body and nice length and intensity of flavours of sour black plum, sappy herbs, chocolate, cream, earth with a hint of cold smoke/tar on a medium-plus finish. 2024-2026–IR
