One sip of this excellent 2023, and it is easy to see why the “Le Clos” terroir is so revered. The nose is highly complex with interlaced mineral, ripe citrus, apple, and floral nuances. Nervy precise acidity sets the palate off with a bang. This is a weighty, precise Chardonnay with fantastic tension, notable typicity, and a very long, elegant finish.
