The 2019 has aromas of honey, quince and spices which follow on to the palate. It has a nice mid-palate weight with firm acidity and a long finish and was fermented in old oak barrels. 2019 was a warm year with some heat spikes during the growing season, producing concentrated wines with natural acidity levels.

A structured wine that should mature nicely. It was quite closed at the time of tasting with a hint of green apple aroma. The palate is smooth with good weight and depth. This is a tightly wound wine with sour apple and bitter fruits coming through on the palate. 2020 was an early vintage and one of the best in the last decade.
