Intense purple in colour, the 2020 Dornfelder has smoky aromas of burnt toast with a touch of leather over a red cherry background. It is supple on the palate with more fresh cherry fruits. It is mellow with a nice mid palate and firm acidity leading to a long smoky finish. It was matured for 12 months in large oak casks made from local Palantine oak. This wine comes in a 1-Litre bottle.
