The Pflüger family has a long history of growing wines. A regional pioneer of organic viticulture, we have been producing organic wines sines 1989. Demeter certification followed in 2008. Today, Alexander Pflüger, his family and a young, dedicated team cultivate 27 hectares in prestigious locations around Bad Dürkheim. The Dürkheim region offers a wide range of high quality sandstone, lime and löss soils, perfect for the traditional Palatinate grape varieties including Riesling and Pinot Noir. Other well-loved varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and St. Laurent complete our portfolio. Our vineyards live in balance with nature. Biodiversity, living soils and attentive care provide us with resilient vineyards and healthy grapes. Our respectful cellar work aims to produce excellent wines full of character, authenticity and complexity. Skin contact, natural fermentation and time spent on the lees in oak and stainless steel help stand our wines apart. Each wine´s origin and unique terroir is tasted in every glass.
