Subtle white blossoms and cassis aromas lead to a soft and relatively light wine with lime and flinty flavours. The Saint-Bris appellation, based around the small village of Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, a few kilometres south-west of Maligny, is the only Burgundy appellation permitted to grow Sauvignon Blanc.
