It is deep purple and opaque in the glass. The nose has a medium intensity with elements of coffee wafers, prune spread, cream, oily/black olive richness, and a pickling note. It is dry on the palate and shows a low adequate acidity, a medium extract, medium fine-textured tannins, a medium body and lovely length and fruit with creamy, prune, coffee wafers, wood spice - nutmeg?, a pickling note and chocolate liquor components, wrapping with a medium-plus finish.
