D’une couleur dense, le 2017 présente des arômes intenses, doux et complexes avec de la vanille, des fruits mûrs, de la noix de muscade et des caractères boisés, ce qui le rend très attrayant. L’assemblage final présente une grande proportion de merlot à 90 %. Il est concentré en bouche avec des tanins fermes et granuleux et une finale légèrement austère.

Ripe cherry, spices, menthol and graphite combine to offer lots of appeal. The palate is supple and rich with woody flavours, cherry fruits and bitter chocolate. It is concentrated with good mid-palate, a grainy texture and long finish. This is a really stylish wine brimming with character. A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, grapes were fermented in wooden and concrete vats for 30 days. It was matured in oak barrels with 30% new for 14 months.

The 2016 is intense with more meaty, complex aromas complemented by oaky clove characters. Damson and red fruits emerge with a bit of air. It is smooth with a grainy texture, very much in keeping with the 2015 vintage. Persistent red fruits, wood and cherry menthol flavours stay on the finish.
