Cinciano - where hospitality and friendliness of the people are united by their love for the land and a history spanning nearly a thousand years.Located on a hill overlooking the valley between Poggibonsi and Barberno, Cinciano is the last promontory of Chianti Classico.Traditions rule this estate with Sangiovese being the staple grape variety representing the majority of the nearly 30 hectares of vineyards. The land is rich with soil comprising of limestone and clay creating an ideal conditions which nurture the vineyards, the surrounding olive groves and cypress trees which sprawl over the estate.Cinciano’s wines are produced in three stages: processing of grapes, refining and wine tasting.The Medieval village is the setting for each stage, embedding the nuances of history in the glass. Their wines made with pride and passion; they represent terroir and symbolize traditional methods.
