A bright, fruity Chianti Classico with vibrant aromas of red cherry, hints of dried flowers, vanilla, and spice. Still very youthful with a weighty structure, mouthwatering acidity and sinewy tannins that should soften nicely within a couple of years. The vines for this cuvée are planted on southwest-facing hillsides on the area’s typical Albaresestony clay-limestone soils. Sangiovese thrives in these shallow, well-draining soils, digging deep to find sustenance and yielding wines of notable depth and persistence. 2024-2031 – JB
