From the plateau part of the village vineyards, the wine spent a year on its fine lees in 650-litre oak. A deep purple opaque robe here. It opens with medium-intensity aromatic notes: floral/carnations, red plum nectar and flesh, tar, medicinal/roasted fennel, speck, lard and black olive. Dry on the palate, it follows with a medium-minus acidity, a medium extract, medium fine powdery-textured tannins, a medium body and attractive length and fruit with fleshy red plum nectar, tar, medicinal/fennel, lard, speck and black olive elements leading into a medium finish. 2025-2026–IR
