From a single vineyard of 4.5 hectares, the wine was aged for two months in new, 2nd- and 3rd-fill oak. Offers a black-purple, opaque colour and a medium-intensity set of black pepper jelly, tar, hickory smoke, black olive, prune spread and speck/smoked bacon. Dry, the palate shows a medium-minus acidity, a medium-plus extract, medium-plus fine medium-textured powdery tannins, a medium-plus body and a nice length and well-defined flavours of tar, hickory smoke, prune spread, speck and dried black olive, with a medium-plus, warm finish. 2026-2030–IR
