Festival Gewürztraminer, Alto Adige DOC, 2023

It’s highly likely that Alto Adige is this grape name's origin. Cold-macerated prefermentation for 12 hours for a greater aromatics extraction. A light lemon-yellow hue. It leads with high-intensity aromas of rosewater, linden blossom and ginger cake – really lovely. It is dry on the palate offering medium acidity, medium-plus extract, a soft texture, medium-plus body and a nice length with a coating, fragrant fruit presence of linden, rosewater, ginger cake and aloe notes tailing off on a long finish. Very pretty: textbook Gewürz with a nice acidity. 2025-2026–IR
