From 30-year-old vines, it has seen a couple of hours of skin maceration prior to fermentation. A medium golden-yellow appearance, the wine shows a medium intensity on the nose with lifted notes of aloe, paste/batter, yellow pear and plum and a dried fig overtone. It is dry, has a medium acidity, a medium extract, a soft texture, a medium body, a coating presence and lovely length and persistence of starfruit, oil, yellow pear, fig and aloe with a medium-plus finish. A lovely palate, and a nice reference for a quality Soave. 2025-2027–IR
