A classic expression of Grenache with a profile of strawberry, cherry and raspberry contrasted with a hint of white pepper and minerality. The fruit is hand-harvested from iron-laden, red-soiled vineyards and put into small 12-kilogram crates to protect it on its way to the winery. A meaty Syrah with smoky and spicy plum and blackberry aromas. The palate highlights Katie’s hallmark pure fruit with flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant and plum with a touch of oak and cured meat on the finish. Jones Vineyard Collection Carignan, Vin de France
The fruit from two organically farmed vineyards is combined to make the Jones Vineyard Collection Carignan. The roots of these 100-year-old vines run so deep that they always have access to water, even in vintages with little rain. The nose is decorated with highlights of plum, blackcurrant, black raspberry. These same dark fruits dress the palate where they are joined by a kiss of thyme and cedar on the finish. 2023-2027–LW
