Aged in second fill oak for about 20 months. A suave medium-ruby robe here. The nose opens with medium-intensity aromatics: hint of smoky, creamy, cherry soup, custard, lifted, blood orange peel, ripe cranberry cocktail, black raspberry stalk and vanilla. The dry palate continues with medium acidity, medium extract, medium fine-textured tannins, medium body, medium and slightly warm alcohol, and lovely length and fruit featuring cherry soup, custard, vanilla, cardamom and a hint of citrus. Closes with a medium-plus to long finish. Quite refined with class, polish and poise. 2025-2028–IR
