The fruit is ripe, rounded, forward and has a comforting weight that fills out the mouth. The tannins are still spiky but a year or two will see a marked improvement. There's a satisfying juiciness to the finish with blackberry, graphite, liquorice, mushroom, cooked plum, and a hint of vanilla. 2025-2028.–MP
