The Puglian Primitivo grape and Californian Zinfandel are both clones of the same ancient Croatian variety, giving them a very similar character. This 2022 Salento Primitivo is fleshy and full bodied with heady baked and dried dark fruit flavours, mingled with baking spice and herbal accents.
