Vignoble Deleu Côte-Rôtie Anagramme, AOP Côte-Rôtie, 2023

From 45-year-old vines of a densely planted plot in Côte Blonde, the wine was aged for 18 months in small and large barrels. It has an opaque, black-purple robe and medium-minus intensity aromas of tar, smoke, prune spread, earth/black soil, grilled endive and fennel, roasted chestnut and roasted herbs/dill. On the palate, it is dry, has a medium acidity, a medium extract, medium-fine nicely resolved tannins, a medium body and lovely length and flavours of poached prune, roasted herbs/dill, grilled fennel, black soil and tar, and a medium-plus finish.
