Malvira Barolo DOCG Boiolo
2013 was a cooler vintage allowing the grapes time to gain complexity while they slowly matured on the vine. A classic Barolo with an elegant bouquet of cranberry, strawberry, rose, leather and tea. Firm, precise tannins guard the ample fruit core which is layered with flavours of strawberry, cranberry, raspberry and a suggestion of rose. The harmonious balance and lingering finish confirm this wine’s pedigree. In 12–18, months the tannins will be completely integrated launching this wine into a peak drinking window of 20-plus years.

Malvira Barolo DOCG Boiolo
2014 was another cool year in Barolo resulting in regal wines with an appealing depth of flavour. The floral and fruity bouquet gives aromas of rose, plum and cherry. The palate recalls the flavours of fresh baking with notes of brown sugar and cherry pie; however, the finish is as expected: completely dry. Hints of rose petal and tea add a layer of complexity to the experience. Steadfast tannins and mouthwatering acidity encase the fruit and provide the framework for its long life.
