It has a deep ruby, near-opaque appearance in the glass and a medium-plus intensity, lifted spectrum of dried blackberry, chokeberry juice, pencil lead and shavings, a hint of green peppercorn, then floral, sappy and smoky notes. Dry with a medium acidity, the palate is made up of a medium-plus extract, medium fine-textured tannins, medium body, and nice length and flavour persistence of blackberry and chokeberry preserve, nettle/leaf, sap, plum pit and iron filings, and a slightly tart medium-plus finish. 2025-2026–IR
