The Notàri vineyards sit at 300 metres above sea level on ideally oriented southeast-facing slopes. The vines are over 40 years old, yielding small quantities of concentrated, richly flavoured fruit. This 2021 vintage was one of my favourite wines from the tasting, with its complex high-toned aromas, its chiselled structure and elegant tannins. A very fine, age-worthy example of Montepulciano. 2025-2035–JB
